Acquitted

Michael Jackson has been found not guilty on all counts. I can't say that I'm surprised.

The family of the accuser is nothing more than a bunch of money grubbing golddiggers. They tried to squeeze money out of multiple celebrities--George Lopez, Chris Tucker and Conan O'Brien, to name a few (all of whom testified in this case). The mother committed welfare fraud. They all lied under oath in the past. There was no reason to believe that this situation was any different than the ones in the past and there was no physical evidence.

Don't get me wrong--I think Michael Jackson is a mixed-up individual. No grown man should think its normal and acceptable to sleep with other peoples' children in their bed. Would I leave my kids with him (well, if I had any)? Hell no.

But I also would not have found him guilty based on the testimony of a bunch of known con-artists. That's not how the system is supposed to work.

California prosecuters need to pick their battles more carefully in the future.

My bad, it was Jay Leno, not Conan O'Brien who the family tried to leech money from and who testified in court.

He's a freak for sure, but last I checked we don't imprison people for being freakish.
Free at Last, MJ is Free At Last!!!
What a THRILLER that was!
(I was hoping he would moonwalk out of the courthouse but I think he could barely walk normal)

I think Michael's whole deal is that he never really wanted to grow up and he's in a position where he never really has to and so he created "NeverNeverLand" to perpetuate that fantasy world. And who wouldn't want to stay a kid forever? What is sad is that some of the things he has done for these children is pretty special (although some of it raised eyebrows). He will probably have to curtail most if not all of his philanthropic activites in order to prevent another unpleasant legal action. If he's smart he'll just buy more monkeys and swear off the kiddies.

Agreed. He needs to stay far away from any kids that aren't his own.

Apparently, his lawyer agrees, too.
