It really IS crazy out there

Camping out to get a lot for a new home? Sounds crazy, but its true.

Xan and I got a first hand look at the new home craziness this past weekend. There really is NOTHING available in terms of decent sized 3-4 bedroom homes with a 3-car garage (one of our requirements), unless you want to drive from Queen Creek every day. Even out there, you'll pay over $300,000 for it.

I'm willing to go a reasonable distance south or a reasonable distance east--but certainly not to a place where you have to drive for 40 minutes just to get to the freeway.

I don't know where all these people are coming from. In a couple of years when all these homes are built and filled up, I shudder to think of what our traffic will be like.
