One happy geek

Leave it to Verizon Wireless to drop the price on the Motorola V710 (their ONLY non-PDA phone with bluetooth) just days after I finally gave up waiting and ordered another phone.

Lucky for me, they have a good exchange policy. I'm just glad the price drop came before my 15 day grace period expired.

I am now able to connect my Pocket PC to my phone via bluetooth and get to the internet at speeds of 144K using only my plan minutes, which I just upped to 1,000. Even better with unlimited nights and weekends, which is primarily when I'd be using it.

Not too shabby. :)

just bought the Razr from Cingular, and it rocks. I actually have full signal strength at my house now! Bye Bye Verizon!

Good luck with that... I've heard all kinds of stories of Cingular's phones switching to roam at various spots throughout the valley.

I haven't had a roaming charge on my bill for YEARS.

They may not have all the bells and whistles, but Verizon's coverage is the best in this part of the country.
