A different kind of bird

Apparently Jake Plummer is finding out that fans in Denver can be even more brutal than we Cardinals fans are.

I've done a lot of sticking up for Jake because I always felt he got a bum wrap in Arizona. I never felt he was in the right system for his style of play, and thought he'd end up being a superstar with another team. I also thought he was just a genuinely nice guy...

Maybe I was wrong all along.

Actions do speak louder than words, and Jake hasn't exactly torn it up since moving to Denver. He had a decent season last year, but this year its back to the same old Jake. And since Denver fans are used to winning, they're losing patience with him.

I guess I can't blame them. If the Cardinals had paid him $40,000,000 to stay here, I'd sure expect a lot more than what the Denver fans have been getting this season.

At the end of his last year in Arizona, he was getting boo'ed pretty hard. Its getting pretty bad in Denver now too, and its obviously getting to Jake.

Strangely enough, I still find myself feeling sorry for Jake. Hell, six years as a Cardinal probably ruined him.

I probably shouldn't pity him too much. I'm sure he's laughing all the way to the bank.
