Its so much more fun to win than to lose...
Cheers to the Cards for kicking the crap out of the New Orleans Saints.
Yeah, so maybe the Saints ain't all that, but our defense is a lot of fun to watch (attention wide receivers--do not get hit by Adrian Wilson--you'll regret it) and the offense is starting to come together.
My only regret is that there were so few Saints fans to heckle.
Next week San Francisco, and from the looks of them we should be able to win that game. A couple of wins is a nice way to get back on track...
I think Dennis Green is making great strides with this team.

Nor were there any Cardinals fans there either. What is really sad and this shows how low this team is, there were 28,109 fans at the Cardinals game and there were 29,425 fans watching the worst baseball team in the league play.
Posted by: James at October 4, 2004 09:29 AMIt WAS 97 degrees outside. This is a fickle sports town at best, and the D-Backs have air conditioning. There was an interesting article in the Business Journal last week that said Arizona is the most over-extended sports market in the country. In other words, the income level isn't high enough to support the number of sports teams we have here.
If they start to win, people will show up. That was proven the one and only season we went to the playoffs. Back then, I was accused of being a "bandwagoner" by some disgruntled opposing team fan... talk about pissed! I've been watching this team lose for 13 years, let me enjoy the occasional victory!
If you haven't watched this team play, don't pass judgement. Even in the first three games they lost, they were NOT the same old Cardinals.
Its going to take a few wins to get people's attention. If they keep playing the way they did against New Orleans, people will start to notice.

We'll see if attendance goes up, but moving the stadium to Buckeye or where ever they are putting it won't help attendance. You are right, if this team wins, they will draw. But no matter what the press says, the front office is still the same cheap bastards that have run every good player out of town over the years.
