This is a term I wish I had never heard of...
Why is it that people feel the need to slow down and gawk at an accident, particularly when its on the opposite side of the freeway?!? What a crappy way to start out a Monday morning--stuck in traffic, taking twice as long as normal to get to work, all so stupid people can get a look at a fender bender. It just makes me furious...

Posted by geekchik at May 3, 2004 01:56 PMGuns are ineffective against sympathy slowing. A push bar or snow plow attached to the front of your truck works much better. A T.O.W. missile system would be even better, but the price is out of the range of most people.
I'm working on a hydraulic lift system similar to a forklift that allows you to lift the car in front and either place it to the side or put it behind you.
