Aw, man...

I don't think I really needed to hear this before my planned trip to Maui this November...

I think Kahana is on the other side of the island from where we'll be (that's where all the big surfing waves are). But this is still too close for me.

Now I'm gonna be all freaked out while I'm snorkeling...

Kahana is half way between Kaanapali & Kapalua. Mostly condos full of Canadians IIRC. Not much to look at.

That guy was from Oregon. It was on the news here. But sorry to say that it is close by to where we will be. Actually we will be staying in Kaanapali.
