Jake, Jake, Jake... you know I love ya, man. I was one of the few who stuck up for you when all the other fans were booing you. I knew it wasn't YOUR fault that the Cardinals were always losing. I even backed you up when the whole Club Rio incident was giving you bad press. I always figured you were a stand-up guy.
Perhaps I was wrong about that part.
Quite frankly, I can't say I'm completely surprised. I've SEEN Jake's girlfriend and she's not your stereotypical athlete's arm candy. In fact, when I saw them together, I was sure they were just friends. He didn't exactly seem to be excited about showing her off.
Jake's a good looking guy and if he wasn't already rich after being with the Cardinals, the Broncos made him FILTHY rich. So naturally, a guy like that is gonna have thoughts racing through his head figuring he can do better.
Don't get me wrong, I think he's a pig now. But it doesn't surprise me much coming from a professional athlete.
Glad my hubby didn't leave me standing on that beach in Maui.
